JSK Stories believes that everyone is a storyteller. Whether you are writing a script, acting a role, singing a song, designing a costume, directing a show, creating a prop, editing the perfect scene, or running a tight rehearsal, JSK Stories tells the stories within us and around us.

Originally created by Janine Sobeck Knighton, jsk stories is a community dedicated to telling stories, arts education, and providing a platform for kids and teenagers to share their creative work in a safe, online environment. We proudly believe in supporting, developing, and nurturing the creative work of all, without regard to gender, race, or socioeconomic status. While specifically focused on the artistic worlds of theatre and film, all storytellers from all mediums are invited to participate.

On our website and accompanying YouTube channel you will find a variety of things, including:

  • Stories created by the jsk stories team.
  • Lessons about the different roles, techniques, and histories in theatre and film.
  • Behind-the-scenes peeks into the work we are creating.
  • Resources for parents and educators.
  • Opportunities for our community members to share their own work.

To support the work of jsk stories, please consider subscribing to our YouTube channel, signing up for our newsletter, purchasing from our shop, or making a monetary donation.

We hope that you enjoy your time spent with jsk stories!
